Meat Is Murder

I have just finished reading Skinny Bitch. In the back of my mind I know that summer is just around the corner and I am beginning to feel the pressure to get thin. I will go into that in more detail later, but I really need to share an exerpt from the book with you.

Warning - Do not read the rest of this post if you are easily offended.

I have not been able to get it out of my head - Surely you can endure reading it, if the animals have to endure suffering it.

This excerpt is actually quoted from Gail A Aisnitz’s book Slaughterhouse and is told from a slaughter house worker. These kind of monstrosities happen every second of every day all around the world and if you have any conscience at all please take just a moment to think of these sentient beings when you are planning your next meal.

“One time I took my knife - it’s sharp enough - and I sliced off the end of a hog’s nose, just like a piece of bologna. The hog went crazy for a few seconds. Then it just sat there looking kind of stupid. So I took a handful of Salt Brine and ground it into its nose, all over the place. I still had a bunch of salt left in my hand - I was wearing a rubber glove - and I stuck the salt right up the hog’s ass. The poor hog didn’t know whether to shit or go blind.”

There are other stories that I can’t bear to reread. Is it only me who feels appalled at this kind of disgusting abuse? Why do we think it is ok to abuse animals in any way we see fit? It is so easy to live without violence.

Sorry if this post has offended you, but I honestly feel that our governments are involved in a huge scam with corporations to keep the animal abuse that happens day in day out, every single second, a secret from the public. This is not ok. We need to do something about it and make changes. Every small thing you do makes a difference. Animals are sentient, feeling, thinking beings. It is obvious when you look at your pets, but if not it has been proven so many times I have lost count. Please start caring.

There Are Good Times Too…

August 27th, 2008

It’s not all doom and gloom here in sunny Balmoral. I have been having a rather lovely time taking Charlie the dog for walks on the beach and playing with my kitten Dylan.

When my pet rats come out to play Dylan will go and sit in their cages. It is the funniest sight. I am unemployed, so my main aim is to look for a job (an easy, not too stressful one), but I have a secret pleasure in being able to get up late and take my time with life. I listen to Butterfingers funny music and just have some fun.

Occasionally I forget our financial situation and just smile to myself at my surroundings and my funny pets and my lovely husband.

Gambling Addict?

August 27th, 2008

Last time I lost a lot of money at an online casino I was distraught. I was so low that I felt suicidal. I know it sounds like I am exaggerating, but I honestly felt like it was easier if I was no longer alive. I felt that to die might be kinder to those around me. I even looked up ways to kill myself with the least pain. The act of reading about these very practical ways to kill yourself somehow brought me to my senses. That was when I first researched gambling addiction. I finally felt that things had gone too far. I was no longer in control.

Apparently the term “gambling addiction” is actually not the proper term. Professionals call it “impulse control disorder”. Anyway I looked at the list of warning signs; trying to win back losses with more gambling, lying to family and friends, gambling to escape from reality, risking significant relationships and your job, loss of control, depression, preoccupation, suicidal thoughts.

Well I could tick pretty much all of those boxes and it was almost with a sense of relief that I diagnosed myself as a compulsive gambler. I realised that all the scams I have fallen for have been like gambling. I have been “investing money” into something with high risk. That, along with the money I have lost in actual casinos made me come to my senses.

I sat there in tears and realised that I had to tell Mr Sensible everything. He was out of the house at the time so I walked down to the beach to find him. It was so hard to tell the truth I could barely get the words out. That is what I told you about in my previous post.

I realised just how bad my problem was when I found myself back in the casino the next day! I was so ashamed. That is it now. I am being honest with myself and trying to move forward. Honesty from here on out. I really do love life and I know I can make so much of it and help others, but I just have to take a step in the right direction.

I haven’t told you yet that I lost my job last week. I was too ashamed even to write it here. I feel that with compulsive gambling comes compulsive lying and if I am not 100% honest on my blog I am lying to myself.

Roulette Raid - Roulette Software that Works?

August 27th, 2008

It is quite strange that I find myself writing this post, because as a rule I am totally 100% against gambling software and think they are all scams. The trouble is that Roulette Raid is proving me wrong.

It is one of the lesser known softwares and not to be confused with the very scammy Roulette Raider. It also only costs $25 and is refundable if it doesn’t work for you. Don’t worry they don’t have an affilliate program, so you can’t accuse me of being an unethical scammer here.

In one of my low points last week, I was searching for roulette systems and strategies and reading up on Dublinbet and other live casinos. I know, I should have learned my lesson by now, but I am Miss Gullible.

I happened upon Roulette Raid, which is sold at RouletteRaid.com and Ezesoftware.co.uk.

Roulette Raid is designed to work on Live Online Casinos like Dublinbet (see my review on Dublinbet).

I did my research and checked it out on the roulette forums and lo and behold it had all positive feed back! I decided to try it out and downloaded the demo. The demo is a bit rubbish to be honest and only lets you spin 6 times before resetting, so you can’t get a real feel for it, so I decided to jump in the deep end and buy it.

I played at Dublinbet in Fun Mode and it actually worked! You can choose between 5 different systems, but I used Solex, which picks just one number. It uses progression to make sure you profit, even if the number doesn’t come up for a while, but if you are a wuss like me, you can flat bet and still make a (smaller) profit.

I played with Real money and actually doubled my money. I had to stop though, because I am beginning to realise I have a bit of a gambling problem and I am working with Mr Sensible to stop it.

On the roulette forums such as RouletteForum.net

you can read comments from people who are actually making a living from this software alone. I couldn’t quite believe it. If you decide to try it make sure you only play at live online casinos and please do your research and don’t just take my word for it. I am Miss Gullible after all. But from what I have read and tested this is the best thing out there for roulette.

Good Luck!

    Dublinbet.com Casino Review

    August 25th, 2008

    DublinBet

There is a new type of online casino and that is the “live” online casino. One of the best examples of this is Dublinbet.com. Dublinbet is a 24 hour casino based in Dublin, Ireland and you can log on any time of the day or night and play casino games like roulette and blackjack with a live dealer. You watch the dealer via a video connection.

I have been trying out Dublinbet over the last few days and it is definitely a much more positive experience than most online casinos which use Randomly Generated Numbers. Even the roulette software I would otherwise shun works better in a “live” online casino. It can’t really be rigged as there are real punters around the table watching it spin and you see it all via live video feed.

There blackjack is called “Early payout blackjack” and works a bit like Deal or No Deal. You can choose to take a payout or finish playing your hand. It means that they pay out over 99%.

Roulette is much slower than your average online casino as it is live and you have to wait for others to place their bets and for the dealer to spin, but this is the same as a “live” casino and you generally end up winning more due to the trustworthy nature of the casino.

Dublinbet.com is very popular with people that like to play online and has recieved rave reviews. You can give it a try with fun money. You don’t even need to download the casino just click to play games. If you enjoy online casinos, I would definitely give this a try. If you want to try out any systems or software try it in fun mode first.

    The Truth Comes Out

    August 24th, 2008

I felt so bad at the weekend about everything I have done and all the scams I have stupidly fallen for that I was in a really bad mood and I felt like Mr Sensible was paying for my stupidity. I decided to tell him everything.

It was incredibly hard to get the words out and of course Mr Sensible was hurt, betrayed and felt angry that I have lied to him. Last night was horrible. I regretted telling him the truth and wondered whether things would ever go back to normal. I tried to explain everything to him. I explained about the hope I feel when I see a new opportunity and how I long to make my dreams come true. I realise it was all completly selfish, but at least I have no secrets from him anymore. He doesn’t deserve any hurt. He is such a good man.

Now, just 24 hours later, things are already better. I realise I should have been truthful all along and that it is better to work together as a team, to get through hard times.

Mr Sensible means everything to me and I guess my main aim now will be to never deceive or betray him again and never to lie to him. Thank God everything is out in the open.

    Rollercoaster

    August 20th, 2008

Honestly it feels like I have been on a rollercoaster of emotions the past 2 days and I don’t even know why. Yesterday I was over the moon in the morning and then down beyond belief in the afternoon. I woke up this morning feeling like death and now I feel fine, just a little on edge and the thing is I don’t know why.

No, it’s not the time of the month. I think I have been so worried about money recently it is taking over all areas of my life. I can’t concentrate well on anything else and it is resulting in constant headaches and insomnia.

Maybe I am just going mad? I don’t seem to be able to tell the truth about anything to my family or friends. It’s like I am turning into a compulsive liar.

I am going to take Charlie out for a walk. Maybe the fresh air will help.

    Something Great Coming Up…

    August 17th, 2008

I have recently found something new on the Internet, which I am very excited about. I don’t want to say anything until I have tested this, as I don’t want to endorse a scam. I should be able to tell you by this time next week, if not before.

Needless to say it is very exciting and no it’s not an affiliate program that I will profit from by selling to you guys. I try to stay away from those, simply because how can you trust someone who is trying to make money from you?

This is low investment, so is good for those of us who struggle financially. I have done a lot of research on this and so far it’s all good. So fingers crossed.

Sorry this is a bit of a cryptic post, but you’ll understand in a week or so.

I am So Sick of Bux.to

    August 17th, 2008

I logged into Bux.to today just to see what was going on and people are still being paid, but it is taking at least 6 months from when money was requested. I requested my money was on April 11th, so I still have a very long wait and that is if they even exist in October/November.

I am waiting for about $670 and I am not allowed to request another payment until I have received that one. I have over $10000 in my Bux.to account that I have not been able to request yet. That sounds an impressive amount, but the thing is it’s not real money until you have it in your bank account. At the moment it is just a figure on a website.

In the Terms of Service it states that standard members should be paid in 60 business days and premium members in 30 business days. Premium members are taking about 6 months now, so I feel very sorry for anyone who is a standard member.

I know I should just give up on this now, but whilst the website is still up I still have a small amount of hope.

    A Roulette System That Works…

    August 15th, 2008

Ok, so I have only tried this in practice casinos, but it is working consistently where other systems have failed. Today I started with $300 (fun money) in Golden Palace and ended up with over $1100. That is certainly no guarantee that things won’t go wrong in a real money casino, but it is a better start than most systems.

Recently I have been messing around with a few different systems in fun mode, knowing that none would work and just wasting time. I started researching roulette software and joined a forum where people showed their roulette results and analysed them against the software. There were lists of predictions and the actual roulette result. Pretty much all the software were failures, but as I was looking down these lists I noticed something…

One thing that often occurs in online roulette is a number hitting twice or even three times in a row. When I have been playing useless systems, such as the Martingale system (where you double your bet every time you lose) I have often been frustrated by a number coming up more than once in a row, especially if that number is a zero.

I decided to play 1000 hands to see how often a double number would hit and it turns out that in three different online casinos, the most I went without a number hitting twice or more in a row was 102 times (after I had been playing for several hours).

More often there was a double hit in less than 30 spins. Sometimes less than 10 spins.

I would have liked to try this in real money, but sadly I have no real money to play around with.

So how do you use this to your advantage?

First I spun the wheel without placing a bet. Let’s say number 7 came up.

I then placed a $1 bet on the number 7 and spin the wheel. It lands on number 30

I then placed a $1 bet on number 30 and spin the wheel. It lands on number 12

I then place a $1 bet on number 12 and number 12 hits again. I make a very decent profit.

This is called The Chaser System. Of course it would be unusual to profit that quickly. You simply continue betting in this way until 30 bets. After that if you haven’t won you can continue betting $1 bets and you will take longer to get ahead, but you won’t lose much. Doing it this way I made around $100 in about 2 hours.

If you prefer a quicker result and have a larger bankroll you can use the dreaded progression system. It actually worked for me at Golden Palace. You can choose which progression suits you. I prefer to double my bet every 30 spins. This doesn’t get through your bankroll too fast and it minimises losses.

If you prefer you could bet $1 for 30 spins and then $2 for 10 spins and $4 for 10 spins and so on, so that you would be guaranteed to make your money back when you win, but that is too aggressive for me.

Using a progressive system in practice mode I won $200 in an hour increasing by doubling my bet every 30 spins and using the more aggressive mode I won over $400 in an hour, but it got much more scary before the win and I feel you could lose a lot of money that way.

You should always bet the same number again even if it has come up twice. On a number of occasions a zero came up three times in a row.

Once you win, you go back to placing a $1 bet on the number that just came up.

The longer runs without a double hit coming up were after an hour of playing. It is best to stop after an hour or after you have won $100.

If you set the online casino to fast play you can get through a lot of spins very fast.

Remember I have not tried this in Real Money mode and in my opinion online casinos are rigged, but why not have a go in fun mode and see how much you make (or lose). You can’t be worse off than most other systems out there.
